Vtech Kidizoom Twist Camera - The Best Kid's Camera Created?
Vtech are one of the leading toy manufacturers, and have proved why with the Kidizoom Twist, which is one of their latest offerings. This camera is part of their already successful Kidizoom range and in this article I will argue whether is the best kids camera ever.
The Kidizoom Twist has an abundance of different features, some of which you would not expect to see on a kid's camera. Obviously, it can take pictures. It is fitted with a 2 megapixel lens which can also be used to record videos. The camera has a 4x digital zoom for shots from far away and a built-in flash. So far so good then.
Also contained in this package are a range of clever and fun editing facilities for your child to go to town on. Your child can add stamps and frames to their pictures, plus they can add crazy voice changing effects to their videos.
An extra addition is Self Portrait mode, which makes it easier for the child to take pictures of themselves and the things they are doing. This mode is even better when combined with the editing facilities and has a similar effect to the Nintendo DSi, where people take pictures of themselves or others and do daft and funny things with the effects. Very entertaining!
In addition to all of this we have the feature I referenced earlier that you wouldn't expect to see on a camera - the inclusion of 5 great built-in games, just in case your child gets bored of taking photos.
It has enough memory to store over 500 photos, which allows a lot of room for your child's creativity and ensures they never lose their favorite snaps.
As I said at the start, this is arguably the greatest kids toy ever and its features do really do this claim justice. Vtech have done a great job with this product and it is another success story for them. I think the things that grab me the most are the 2 MP lens and the memory capacity. Not so long ago that would have been great for an adult camera!
To cut a long story short, the Kidizoom Twist camera has a lot to offer. The features are great, as I'm sure you'll agree, and the entertainment value is very high here. This camera will suit any budding your photographer and provide them with hours of fun at the same time.
